Custom Packing Slip and Invoice for WP e-Commerce

WP e-Commerce is the most robust shopping cart built to date for use exclusively with WordPress. While feature rich, shop owners frequently desire customization. Being open source software this is not only possible but encouraged. Recently we were contracted to completely re-do the packing slip, customize it with exactly the information our client wanted and format it to meet the client’s needs. In addition, to date there had not been any type of invoice for WP e-Commerce and our client wanted this as well so we built and customized it. The final problem was that printing. While WP e-Comerce allows printing the entire screen this was an unsatisfactory solution for our client who is now able to simply hit a print button and print just his packing slip or invoice.

CoffeeReview.com is a specialty coffee site targeted at coffee drinkers, food service professionals and the coffee industry. If you’re a coffee connoisseur, this is the site for you and we’ve been lucky enough to have been chosen to build their blogs and forums. These are new additions to their site which launches today with a new look.

We’ve loved this job, not just because it’s about coffee but because it has provided some great technical challenges. Take a look at the blog home page , for example, and you’ll see that the layout is quite different from common blogs. The Blogger’s box pulls from the author profiles. It also includes a forum that is integrated with WordPress.
